Noah is 8 Months Old!

Noah turned 8 months old yesterday. Taking his picture with the bear is getting harder and harder. He either attacks the bear or rolls over. Here are a few of my attempts at a picture.

He thinks it's pretty funny to stick his tongue out.

If you look closely you can see his bottom tooth poking through.

I love when he gets so excited and scrunches his face up.

Halle loves Noah and even shares her toys with him occasionally.

Caden was mad that he had to stop drawing to get his picture taken.
When he isn't playing the Wii, he is drawing.
It's his passion in life.

Easter 2012

We surprised the kids with a pre-Easter present. We got a new trampoline! We've been hiding it since Thanksgiving. We got a great deal on it. They were very excited!

Noah liked it too!

The Easter Bunny visited our house. Here's the kids with their presents...

Caden's favorite present was the Sponge Bob puzzle. I think he's put it
together like a million times.

Halle was excited to get bubbles and sidewalk chalk...

Noah enjoyed his first Easter! I think the basket was his favorite.

Of course I have to include a cute picture of Noah...

Fun with Food and More

Caden checked out the Star Wars cookbook from the library and we've had a lot of fun with it.

We made Darth Maul Double Dogs and they were a huge hit!
Doesn't it look like a double light saber?

We also made a Darth Malt which was delicious too! The Midi-chlorian Concoction wasn't so good.

My new favorite recipe is Southwestern Stuffed Peppers. They are so good!!
Thank you Pinterest!

We made Resurrection Rolls for Family Home Evening last night. The kids really liked it.
The marshmallow represents Jesus' body and you dip it in the butter (anointing oil) and cinnamon and sugar (spices). Then you wrap it in the dough (linens) and put it in the oven (the tomb). After 12 minutes (3 days) you come back and the marshmallow is  gone. Jesus was resurrected! My kids really caught on and understood it.

We celebrated a lot of Birthdays in March and I'm sad I didn't get pictures of everyone's. It was Mal's, Grandpa Eyre's, Lucas', Grandpa Hendrickson's, Jer's, and April's.

Can you tell Lucas' Birthday is on St. Patrick's Day?

We even put green whipped cream on the pumpkin pie.

Lucas was very excited for his new dutch oven!

Grandpa Hendrickson and Noah and Landon.

Uncle Adam is such a good babysitter.

I love this little guy so much! He's getting his bottom teeth. He's growing up too fast!

We passed another level of swimming lessons. We're on a roll!
