I turned on American Idol last night because I thought Caden would be excited to watch it since he is obsessed with it. Right when I turned it on he ran out of the room. I thought that was kind of strange, but I kept on watching it. A couple minutes later he ran down the hall wearing all of his American Idol attire. He was out of control and he sang the whole time the show was on. My favorite songs were Old McDonald Had a Farm and the ABC's.(Halle joined in with that one)

Do they look alike?
Lucas always makes fun of me because I always try and figure out who people look like. It's kind of become an obsession of mine. I wanted to share some of my favorites. You let me know what you think...
KYLE KORVER and...
ROLAND STEADHAM (he's the meteorologist on channel 2)
CAILLOU and....
CADEN (he acts just like him too)
RAJON RONDO and...
JOEY (you know you look like him Joey, don't deny it)
CRAIG BOLERJACK and...
TRENT (this is a bad picture of you Trent, but I still see it)

Discipline?
So I have been having some discipline issues with Caden lately. He has been horrible! I have mainly been using time out as a punishment and it doesn't even phase him. Here is a picture of him in time out the other day. He's only there for 2 minutes, but he managed to fall asleep.Sometimes he even asks me if he can go sit in time out. Obviously he doesn't mind it. Does anyone have any discipline tactics that have worked for them? I need help!

At least he's honest

I took Caden to nursery and this is the conversation that took place...
Teacher:"What are you doing Caden?"
Caden:"I'm just picking my nose."
Teacher:" Well, at least he's honest."
I am so proud!

Christmas 2008
I wanted to write down everything we did for Christmas before I forgot it all. For Christmas Eve we decided to eat breakfast casserole. It's a tradition in Lucas' family, but I knew I wouldn't have time Christmas morning to make it so we had it for dinner. After that we watched Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. Caden watches that all year round so it wasn't anything different for him. Then we had a little Family Home Evening about the Nativity story. I was surprised about how much Caden knew. I guess he listens really well in nursery. After that we went and looked at Christmas lights. We were hoping that the kids would fall asleep in the car, but that didn't happen. Luckily they fell asleep soon after we got home. Caden didn't really want to get out of bed Christmas morning. When he finally realized there were presents in the living room he was very excited. He loved all of his new toys. For breakfast we had monkey bread (my favorite). We got to visit my family and my relatives and Lucas' family all in one day. Since there was a blizzard we decided to stay at my mom's house that night. It was a good thing we got new pajamas and clothes.
Here's some pictures of our fun Christmas...
