24th of July

We started off our 24th of July festivities the night before. We went to a BBQ at Tad and Sabrina's house. We had a lot of fun spending time with old friends. Since Lucas was out of town all week, we decided to bring Apollo Burger for our 'bring your own meat'. Sorry Sabrina, we'll try better next time! Just as a side note, I am not a fan of Apollo's new fries!!

My family came up on the 24th and we barbecued some chicken on our new barbecue. Lucas got to demonstrate his amazing cooking abilities.

Halle and the bear

Here are Halle's cute pictures! I can't believe how big she is getting!

The Bear Tradition

We started this tradition when Caden was born. We take their picture every month with the teddy bear for their first year. Then we can see how much they've changed and grown.

4th of July Festivities

We went to the Magna parade with Lucas' family. An hour and a half later the parade was still going so we decided to leave. We had a BBQ and went swimming at his parents' house. After that we went to Nephi to have another BBQ with Liz's family and we had some family pictures taken. The only way we could get Caden to sit still was to put him in the swing, let him sit in the Elmo chair, or put him in timeout. We witnessed some exciting fireworks that were a little too close for comfort later that night.

We thought we'd give blogging a try.
