Canada Trip Part 2

We got to ride the ferry across the harbor. I love cold and overcast weather. The kids liked watching all the boats

They have Tim Horton's doughnut shops all over Canada so we thought we should sample some. They were delicious!

After that we went to the Citadel.

Noah made his presence known right when we got there for the noon cannon firing. He threw the biggest fit ever!

Lucas tried on the soldier's attire. This picture cracks me up.

The kids enlisted in the army. Halle was scared that she really signed up so she made sure that she ripped up her paper and threw it away.

Caden and Noah tried out the cannons.

Lucas and Abby by a view of the city.

Grandpa read up on the historical aspects of the Citadel.

The kids ran around to burn off some energy.

Noah wanted in on the races too.

Then we explored the secret tunnels.

We had to get a family picture by the awesome soldiers. I didn't know if I should smile or have a straight face.

For lunch we went and got some pizza and doner kebabs. Lucas was very excited for that.

We went and took a walk around Point Pleasant Park.

We found this stump along the way and everyone thought it was a good place to have their picture taken.

Caden and Halle find joy in throwing rocks in the water. Doesn't every kid love to do that?

Sounds like you had fun as well as learned some Canadian history. Halle cracks me up with her dramatic paranoia. haha
