Boil Advisory

In June of 2015 we had a boil advisory in Syracuse for our water. It had become contaminated and we had to boil all of the water that we were going to use for drinking or cooking. It was not fun! I put tape on all the faucets so we would remember not to use them. In a way it was kind of nice for me because we used paper products for every meal so we wouldn't have to do dishes. I tried coming up with meals that used the least amount of dishes...frozen lasagne, pizza, hot dogs. We had to do this for 5 days and those were the longest 5 days of my life. You should never take clean water for granted! 

My mom let us use her water cooler for drinking water.
