Family Campout and Bees Game

We bought a tent a couple of months ago with the intent that we would go on a family camp out this summer. Well that never happened so Lucas decided to set it up in the back yard and camp out there.

The flash on my phone is a little bright so I think I blinded everyone.

Noah and I stayed for a little bit and then we went in and slept on our comfortable beds. I'm a wimp and can't sleep on the hard ground when I'm pregnant.

Lucas' boss couldn't use his tickets to the Bees game so he gave them to us. I was very excited that it was on a night they were doing fireworks. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of fun. It made it even better that we won!

I can't believe the summer is over and the kids are starting school on Monday!

Noah Turns 2!

Noah turned 2 on August 12th.
 Here are his impressive stats:
Weight- 25 lbs- 14th percentile
Height- 32.5 in.- 8th percentile
Head- 20- 93rd percentile

About Noah:
Favorite movie- Toy Story
Favorite food- pizza
Favorite toy- Buzz and Woody
Favorite TV show- Calliou
Favorite thing to do- bubbles

Skinny, short, with a big head, but we love him!

He got a few Toy Story books.

He also got a lawn mower that he loves to push around the house.

For dinner we went to Carl's Jr. so they could play on the playground.

He didn't want to leave.

We also did a little party with my family. Of course Caden and Halle have to help him open every present.

Grandma Eyre gave him some Oreos that he had to open right away.

My family went in together and bought a slide for him. He loved it! I think it's funny that he closes his eyes every time he goes down it.

Halle and Caden loved it too.

Just chillin'...

Cake time! This is my attempt at at Toy Story cake. Don't laugh too hard. My talents amaze me.

Noah was determined to get the toys off before we sang to him.

We are so grateful that Noah is a part of our family! He brings joy to our lives every day!

Lagoon

Lucas got some cheap tickets for Lagoon through Weber State Alumni Day. We haven't been there since Caden was two so we thought it would be fun to take Caden and Halle. Grandma Eyre was kind enough to watch Noah for us. I didn't think he would enjoy it much and I knew I wouldn't enjoy chasing him around all day.

Halle liked riding the boats.

Of course she had to ride the Carousel a million times.

She didn't like Puff. I guess it was too intense for her.

Caden really liked Kontiki.

He was terrified of the Dinosaur Drop ride.

Halle liked the new jeep ride.

There were mixed feelings about the log ride. Caden loved it, but Halle thought the waterfall was a little too "big".

The aftermath...(at least she is smiling)

They loved Rattlesnake Rapids. I think we rode this one a billion times.

They got soaked!

Caden liked the sky ride. This ride freaks me out. I always think someone is going to fall out.

The ferris wheel freaks me out too. I don't like spinning things that go really high.

The train was quite enjoyable. We liked looking at all the animals. Caden loved the ostrich.

You always have to ride the bumper cars.

 BOUNCE BACK DAY

Can you tell from Caden's face that he didn't like Bombora?

We thought we would try the log ride again. Yep, Halle still hates it.

Caden and Halle drove around town in the cute little cars.

I think Caden was a little too big for this ride. I like that his knees are almost to his chin.

They still liked Rattlesnake Rapids!

I hope this prepares them for Disneyland! I can't wait for that trip again!

Ward Swimming Party

Every year our ward does a swimming party. This year we went to the Roy Aquatic Center again. My kids always have fun at this place.

Noah is getting more daring in the water. He loves going down the frog slide!

Caden and Halle wanted to show off their swimming skills. They still have a lot to learn, but at least they're progressing a little.

Caden even dares to go under water now. This is a big accomplishment.

Noah was happy to be there!

Caden wore himself out.
