California Adventure (Day 2)

Our second day in California we went to California Adventure

We tried to get Caden to go on Screamin', but he wouldn't. I think that's the only ride that he's never been on. He said next time we go he will go on it. (we'll see)

Halle and Caden were determined to go on the Grizzly River Run even though it was a little cold out. Luckily we had some ponchos.

The crazy people

After each ride Halle would write about it in her journal

Tow Mater!

Caden was very excited to go on Radiator Springs Racers. That ride is awesome! Halle thought it went too fast.

Eva and Noah loved Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.

Noah wore his hat like this the whole time.

I'm pretty sure Luigi's Flying Tires is the dumbest ride ever.

Cars Land is amazing!

This is Caden's scary face.

Caden's first time on Tower of Terror. He loved it! (I think)

Abby had a great time!

High 5

My kids love the parades. We watched them more than once.

I think Caden would go on the Racer ride all day long if he could.

I love the pier at night.

Disneyland Day 1

My parents surprised the grandkids with tickets to Disneyland for Christmas. We went in February. We decided to stay in a house this time because we brought Jer's dog Cooper with us. The house wasn't the nicest, but I liked the fact that the kids could be as loud as they wanted.

 Here's our big family picture

Our family

Let the fun begin...

Dumbo was our first ride

Me and Noah (Trust me, he's there)

We love the Merry Go Round too!

Abby was such a good baby on this trip.

Space Mountain brings out our crazy side.

Our kids loved the characters this year

Riding the Jungle Cruise waiting to see the back side of water.

Halle was so excited to go to Minnie's house

Of course they have to play with the computer

Having a tea party with Eva

Waiting for the parade to start

Las Vegas and the Beach

On our way to Disneyland we stayed in Las Vegas. Our kids begged us to go to the M&M factory. We didn't really want to because the Strip isn't the best place for 4 young kids, but we gave in. When we walked into a casino Halle said, "I don't think we're invited to this party." I could not stop laughing.

I really wanted to go to the new Bobby Flay restaurant, Bobby's Burger Palace. I can check that off my bucket list. It was a little pricey, but the hamburger was delicious!

We stayed at the Baymont Inn. My kids love staying in hotels. I always feel bad for the people staying next to us because we are so loud. When Lucas was bringing all of our coolers to the room a lady said that we must be having a big party. We're going to get drunk from go gurts and string cheese. We really know how to party.

When we got to California, we went to the beach first. My kids were mad that I wouldn't let them jump in. I'm a mean mom, but it was too cold!

Halle loved to play in the sand.

Easy Bake Oven and Experiments

Halle got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas so we decided to try it out. While we were making the cookies she said, "This isn't easy bake, this is hard bake!"

The cookies were tiny, but they were yummy!

Halle had to do an ice water experiment for school. She had to time how long she could sit in a tub of ice water. I think she lasted like 10 seconds.

For some reason Caden thought that looked like fun and he wanted to try. He lasted like 8 minutes!

Caden made a volcano at school and he wanted to try it at home too.

He thought it was pretty awesome!

It's always fun to take Noah for a walk around the house...

And we can't forget Abby!

New Years Eve 2013

For New Years Eve we carried on the tradition and went to Heather and Adam's again. There was a lot of singing and dancing involved. Unfortunately I was very sick so I cheered from the sidelines.
